Accuracy: Very steady with great aim, she's a great shot with pistols. Not so good with a shotgun though.

Strength: Her strength is mostly of mind, but her physical strength is not lacking either.

Speed: When using her knife, she's much faster than with her shovel. Being lighter on her feet, and with a smaller weapon, it's easier for her to dispatch the enemy.


Personality: She's hard to get close to, but for those under her, it's probably because she's barking orders at them. She's actually quite laid back around people she's comfortable with, and loves having some fun. To Brane's luck, she likes drinking, most often irresponsibly //kicked. She's already been through her insanity spell after the zombies invaded, resulting in a calm and collected leader.
History: She grew up in the next city over, and visited her often through her childhood, but not enough to be familiar with the area. Both her father and her mother had been in the military service, as well as many of her family members before them. They encouraged her to learn how to defend herself, and she planned on joining the marines after school.
She was sitting in her college dorm when she heard screaming from outside, and rushed to the window to see what was happening. There were cars crashed, people running about, and many, many people shuffling after them, grabbing at them and attacking them. She didn't understand exactly what she was seeing, but she knew it wasn't good. Taking whatever she found to protect herself, she ran out of her room to find someone who knew what was happening. After being shaken up by zombies appearing and coming after her, she finally found a group of people hiding out in a shed off the campus. With no windows or lights, it was hard to see, so no one realized there was someone that had been bitten. When they had reanimated, they were slow to understand what was going on, and when they started panicking, April had kept a clear mind. Grabbing the closest theng to her, what became her trusty shovel, she ended the zombie's second life.
After that, she sat in the corner, going over what she had just done over and over, thinking about how she had just killed a person. A day went by, and she watched quietly as one by one, the people tried leaving the shed to find new shelter, yet every one ended up being bitten. When the fifth pne had left the shack, she stood, shovel still in hand, and handed out various tools to the stranded, scared people, giving out orders to move fast and attack anything that wasn't human. She had regained her confidence, finally realizing that the monsters weren't human after all. She readined her new troop, and set out to find more survivors, slowly building up her army.
After sweeping the city, rescuing everyone she could, they moved on to the next city, where she found a military base and enough supplies to last a lot of people a long time. Sending out small search parties, she found more and more suvivors throughout the city, and held a meeting in an old theater building, inviting anyone and everyone to aid her in the regaining of their homes.
